Hope Clinic has a mission to facilitate maximum health and wellness for the uninsured and low income families of Marion County, FL.
Started in January 2016.
Many of these citizens are homeless and/or unable to qualify for subsidies.
Hope Clinic provides those in need with the healthcare they require, aides in navigating the healthcare system, and provides the necessary safety net to get them back on their feet.
Hope Clinic does this by providing timely and efficient access to free, compassionate, Patient-Centered Health care services, counseling, Wellness promotion, and disease-prevention education. Hope Clinic works in collaboration with many volunteers and healthcare professionals to provide healthcare, disease prevention, health education, access to medication (no class 3 narcotics), case management services, and specialty care coordination.
Support for Hope Clinic is provided through donations in both time, equipment, supplies and of course monetary contributions.
We have a small administrative staff who help book patients and manage the day to day requirements of the clinic when not seeing patients. Overall, the clinic is servicing about 300 patients per month.
